QuotaCat

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026

Overview

QuotaCat is a mobile quota and rate-limit monitor for developer AI services. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information stored on your device

QuotaCat stores the information needed to connect the providers you choose and display their usage, including provider configuration, plan information, quota snapshots, reset times, and cached dashboard data.

Authentication material such as API keys, OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, and session cookies is stored locally using iOS secure storage. QuotaCat does not operate a central account system for these credentials.

Provider connections

When you connect a provider, QuotaCat sends authentication material and usage requests directly from your device to the provider selected by you. Providers can include Claude, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, Cursor, and Grok.

Those providers receive and process requests according to their own privacy policies and terms. QuotaCat does not control information that a provider collects independently.

Live Activities and widgets

If enabled, QuotaCat shares the minimum locally available quota information needed to show Live Activities, Dynamic Island updates, and Home Screen widgets. This information is used for on-device display and is not uploaded to a QuotaCat server.

What QuotaCat does not do

Retention and deletion

You can remove a provider connection and its locally stored credentials using the app's logout or remove controls. You can also delete the app from your device. Information already held by a provider must be deleted through that provider.

Children's privacy

QuotaCat is intended for developers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when QuotaCat's data practices change. The current source and support information are available in the QuotaCat repository.
